You give time to your
family, time to your friends, clean up after the kids, and get coffee with a friend. In the end of
all this may lead you feeling tired, run down, and you may not have time for
yourself. But it is important for you to
take care of yourself and your smile. Here are 3 tips, from Dr. Judy Strutz, that you can follow through
with to keep your smile in great shape.
1. Oil
pulling. Complete oil pulling first thing in the morning when you wake up.
Utilize coconut or sunflower oil in order to remove food particles from between
the teeth. Don’t swallow any of the oil, but just swish back and forth for
about twenty minutes.
2. Fix
broken teeth. While a broken tooth may not seem like a big deal it can impact
your smile and your other teeth! One broken tooth can lead to wearing down
other teeth, causing pain and other dental problems.
3. Visit
the prosthodontist if you have jaw trouble. Don’t let problems and pain
continue as many times it can easily and affordably be corrected. Jaw pain
could mean your bite is off, which can then cause you to break teeth as you
bite down to consume some of your favorite foods.
Don’t waste time with
a smile you don’t love. You are worth the smile that will last you a lifetime.
