At Dr. Strutz’s
cosmetic dental office, your health and the health of our staff are of the
utmost importance. To ensure this, we follow universally accepted
precautions in our operatories and office. Additionally, we consistently wipe
down the waiting room and common spaces with disinfectant.
In
efforts to help our patients with dental emergencies, we have taken careful
considerations to limit our schedule during this time. We are taking
precautions to make sure that we do our best to take care of all of our
patients and the team during these times. In doing so, we have asked our patients
for some additional information and understanding.
· We are asking that patients
please come to their scheduled appointments alone unless they are in need of a
caregiver or if they are a minor. Minors should be accompanied by only a
parent/guardian.
· We are asking if you are
not feeling well, have a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, please contact
your physician and call our office to reschedule your appointment.
· We are asking if you
have traveled internationally, been on a cruise, have flu-like symptoms, or
work in a place with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past
two weeks. We ask that they reschedule or make the appointment for a later
date.
· We are asking if anyone
in your household is sick or gets sick prior to or on the day of the patient’s
appointment, that you please reschedule altogether.
· We are asking that you
please wash your hands after you have checked in and fill out any necessary
forms.
· We ask that you avoid
coming earlier than their check-in time to avoid multiple patients in the
waiting room.
· We are asking all currently
scheduled patients the same questions and giving them the option to either
keep their scheduled appointment or reschedule to a later date with no penalty
for our 48hr notice policy.
· We are asking that our
referring offices please call us ahead if the patient does not have a
scheduled appointment so that we can triage the patients appropriately.
We
want you to be reassured that we are being more vigilant in all areas of our
office when it comes to infection control. Surfaces in the waiting room, front
desk areas, and restroom(s), which are normally cleaned and disinfected daily,
are now being disinfected throughout the day on an hourly basis. Our team is
being very precautious to ensure that our Patients, Doctors and themselves,
stay healthy during the current COVID-19 crisis. Please let us know if you have
any questions or concerns.
